A DSC is a secure digital key issued by a certification authority to verify and verify the identity of the certificate holder. Digital Signatures use encryption for public keys to create signatures. It contains information about the username, PIN, country,  date of issue of the certificate, email address, and the name of the certifying authority. 

Steps involved in digital signature certificate registration 

Step 1: Click on the 'Register DSC' link on the MCA portal domain page. 

Step 2: On the next screen, click the 'Administrator' link on the left panel and fill out your DIN. Please ensure that the DIN is authorised and properly written. 

Step 3: The system will verify that the DIN is valid and authorised. If the DIN is incorrectly completed or the DIN is completed incorrectly, the system will send an error message to that. 

Step 4: Fill in all the mandated details and ensure that the completed information complies with each DIR-3. Once the applicant has completed the DIR-6, complete the details submitted on the DIR-6 form. 

Step 5: Click the 'Next' button. The system will verify the details. 

Step 6: If the completed information does not comply with DIR-3 / DIR-6, as it may be because you do not have the details of your DIN request, you can obtain details from the company you are directing. 

Step 7: If the details are correct, the system will notify you that you have selected DSC. 

Step 8: Click the 'Select Certificate' button to browse and select a certificate. Please ensure that the fixed DSC belongs to the applicant whose details are registered. 

 

Step 9: The system will verify the DSC. The system will provide an information message if the selected DSC is already registered against a given DIN. If a separate DSC is registered against a given DIN, the system will request if the user wants to update his DSC. 

Step 10: Type the generated system text displayed for confirmation in the box. 

Step 11: Click the 'I Agree' button to agree with the declaration that the information provided is correct. 

Step 12: Click the 'Submit' button to register your DSC. 

Step 13: A consent message is displayed to the user. 

Step 14: The user can take print consent. 

Step 15: The applicant can click the 'Reset' function to clear the field data.
