The following five characters are system-generated numbers, and the last character is a system-generated alphabet.

  2. This must also be submitted to any TIN-FC, i.e. TIN Facilitation Centres. You can search for facilitation centers near your location at tin-nsdl/tin-facilities.
  3. In addition, legible photocopies of Form 49B can also be used to apply for TAN.
  4. If the applicant is a company not registered under the Companies Act 2013, such application for allotment of TAN must be made on Form No. INC-32 (Open SPICe) as per Section 7(1) Companies Act for Incorporation companies.
